Texaal® cotton anti-mite pillow cover

anti-dust mite cover Texaal® Cotton is a medical device made of 100% cotton fabric with a patented high-density weave, forming a physical barrier against dust mite allergens. This process relies on the use of extremely tightly woven cotton microfilaments, creating a mesh so fine that it prevents dust mite allergen particles from passing through.

Each production batch is rigorously controlled under ISO 13485:2016 to guarantee a pore size of less than 5 microns.
Pores are the tiny holes present in the fabric, between the threads. By keeping their size below 5 microns— half the size of the finest dust mite allergen particles, which are typically around 10 microns —the cover effectively blocks their passage.

To reinforce this protection, the cover completely envelops the pillow and is equipped with a zipper protected by a textile flap, preventing any leakage of allergens.

The effectiveness of ProtecSom covers was demonstrated in an open study* presented at the 12th World Allergy Congress, where an average reduction of 62% in allergy symptoms was observed in patients using a Texaal® or Noxaalon® cover.

With a fabric two to four times more breathable than polyester fibre covers or coated covers, the Texaal^® Cotton allows air and vapor to circulate freely.
